  1. @glamis6969 I like to go up the backway from the desert to Big Bear and down the mountain back home. Its really interesting in the winter after a snow. You can go as far in the snow as your 4×4 can take you. The snow getts deeper as you gain elevation.

  2. @Impecca GPS coordinates from the parking area on the trail. 34*21'08.91"N 117*10'03.24"W
Youn can see the trail on Googl Earth. If you cant find it on Google with thease coordinates check your coordinate settings. I think there are three different coordinate formats.

  3. How long and difficult would you say the route you took was? By the way, something I like to do is fill up one of those cloth ice chest with ice with a couple beers and strap that to a backpack full of beers and keep replacing the beers I take out of the ice chest. Then you don't have to carry anything by hand. Get us those co-ordinates when you get a chance. Would be much appreciated. Hopefully I can see the trail on Google Earth

  4. @TheChromebody That video is from the East side of the San Bernardino National Forest. There is a Creek that flows down from the mountains and out to the normally dry Mohave River. There's a lot of great swimming holes along the creek and some Hot Springs.

  5. Thanks for the comment. The Bronco has been a good truck. It now has 167k and still runs great! The A/C was blowing good all day. It rides so much smoother than the truck and gets a little better gas mileage,
