We headed 60 miles east of Durango for a day trip to the beautiful town of Pagosa Springs. Pagosa Springs takes its name from the southwestern Ute word, “Pagosah,” which now translates to “healing waters,” in honor of the city’s sulphurous hot springs, including the world’s deepest geothermal hot spring. . And during our full day in the area, we explored as much of the city and surrounding areas as possible, including a free hot spring, waterfalls, and beautiful views! 6. I’ve hiked that trail to the first waterfall before when I lived in Colorado! While playing around at the falls, we got hit with a pretty big hailstorm. We took cover under the shelf for the worst of it, then hiked back to the car as it tapered off. That was an awesome day, a crazy adventure, and incredibly beautiful views! This video makes me miss Colorado so much!! I’m glad you were able to experience it!

Next summer you should go hike up Mount Wheeler in New Mexico! That was, hands down, the most beautiful views I have ever seen. Definitely take some time to sit for a while about halfway up and admire the view with your eyes! A camera doesn’t do it justice!

  10. My significant other and I plan on moving to the Denver area, sometime this coming year. Your videos do nothing but spur that urge, the anticipation is overwhelming us at this point! We've fallen in love with your videos and have been binging them since we stumbled across the first one with you two in Rocky Mountain National Park. I cannot believe Adam does so much, if not all from what I can tell, hiking in those damn sandals. Guy, how are your ankles not falling apart?! Nothing but love, can't wait to see the continued adventures in Vermont!

  13. During the runoff, you can tube float the river for miles. PS is our anniversary destination most Septembers. Didn't get to go last year. We are moving to the OZARKS so we can't go this year. Hopefully, we'll return for our 46th. That dish looked good but I doubt there is a store in Arkansas that sells 'Carne Picada'. I've never heard of it. Tell the truth though… you made a cup of sauce and scooped on a spoonful. When the camera was off, did you poured in the rest!? I'm addicted to your library. I'll try not to be a pest. You make good vids.

  18. awesome! glad i found you guys! great content for people that love nature and want to travel to special places. the hot springs look relaxing. i did a lot of that many years ago when i built trails in Yellowstone Park right out of high school……nothing like relaxing in a hot spring in the middle of the wilderness at night with a full moon and sky full of stars….doesn't get any better than that. keep up the great work!
