  1. I love the city of Moab off season. It is such a tourist trap that it is cool. I camp at the Hampton Inn on the main drag.

  4. Hey Tristan, thx so much! You thought you couldn't capture how magnificent the arch was, and once again, you found a way! I've been binge watching this channel starting from oldest first, it really helps me to remember to not allow life to keep me a prisoner from all these places Id love to see and all the adventures I'm looking forward to going on with my son! I do want to add this, like another viewer or so who commented on how cool the checkerboard was, I too found that whole table and chair area that someone made to be so cool. As a mom, I can tell you're u, Id love it if my son wanted to go on these adventures, and once to his destination, with a friend, stopped for a snack, drink and quick recharge of their batteries, while sitting at those tables, maybe playing that checker set, while enjoying their surroundings. In today's world, kids are so tied to their phones, and video games, if I hiked there and saw a couple of people resting, (agree, not camping), especially if those people were teenagers, Id be happy to see it. What an experience, to take that hike, arrive there, and be able to enjoy that setup someone took the time to make while not taking away from the beauty of the place. I think maybe someday when your a dad, you'll agree that you'd much rather know your kids are chilling for a bit there then holed up in their room stuck on their video games and phones!😉 This of course all providing they RESPECT the area, behave, not leave trash, and respect others who may arrive there as well. I hope to entice my son someday soon, to venture away from his videos, his games and all the electronics that are what most kid today spend soooo much of their time on, to want to get in our jeep and make it a plan to go there so we can relax in that very spot. Hoping this puts a more positive spin on just how much your adventures and book, can really help change people's life for the better! Without guys like you making all you do look so inviting, kids, (and adults), may never catch the bug for exploring the amazing places we have here in the SW and western part of the USA. Want you to know what a gift your series is for me to have been lucky enough to find, and share! Thx Tristan! And stay safe. Now onto your next one!😉

  5. love the hikes you take. We are much, much older and past the time of some of the more strenuous hikes you take, so you are our eyes and ears for places we may not go, but wish we could. Thank you.

  6. If you are in a hunter area, probably should get some hunter orange. It's recommended in some areas. Beautiful video, esp like the waterfall inside the slot canyon. I have mixed feelings re: something like the little table and carvings. There's a modern pictograph here of a stylized eye/Zia symbol. Like in this case, no one knows who did them. If everyone did this kind of thing it would not be cool, but there are times when they are done extremely well like your find there and the Zia eye.

  7. What's the map app you were using? I've been looking for a good way to find and navigate dirt roads in my area (Northern California).

  11. Love that area .. in 1997 or 96 I'd have to look in my storage locker for pic , but I loaded up my 71 Malibu station wagon with my GT Zascar hard tail mt.bike and went on a Journey to ride the 5 epic MT. bike trails, as per mt. Bike mag. there were more but I wasn't going past Missouri as that's were my parents lived. Anyway slick rock was EPIC by the looks of it now it's over run with people.. at 64 now I just am amazed at the youth finding these places.. I don't know if you have been to Thermopolis, Wyoming but a super Awsome natural hot spring it's a park but worth checking out, if it hasn't been over "traveled" lol

  12. 🤩👍I agree that arch is AMAZING! I do like how other hikers have set up that little seating area. I could see if someone started the hike in the morning and decided to rest and/or have lunch before heading back out. Thank you so much for sharing. 🤗💞🤗

  16. Thanks for sharing some more EXCELLENT finds of Mother Nature's gifts! I greatly appreciate the effort put into capturing the clips depicting you walking away from the camera and walking/descending towards the camera. I especially appreciated the distant clip of you underneath the Otho Natural Bridge. These types of video clips provide an EXCELLENT perspective and a really good sense of scale with regards to the surroundings.

  19. More stunning scenery! Utah is really beautiful. The area you were in reminded me of an old western film or TV show. lol That arch was amazing, too. I cannot imagine seeing that in person. Another fantastic video! Question…do they allow hunting on BLM land? If so, I would be wearing all orange!
