How healthy is flexitarianism?

According to nutrition experts, a flexitarian diet provides the body with all the nutrients it needs. The lack of certain minerals and vitamins, such as B12 in vegans, should not be feared. On the other hand, flexitarianism minimizes the disadvantages of a mixed diet with a high meat content, which is often consumed in Germany. Red meat and highly processed meat products in particular are considered problematic from a health standpoint. Therefore, these foods are also at the top of the food pyramid, which means they should be eaten in moderation.
