Beach House is an american musical couple formed in Baltimore, Maryland in 2004. The ring consists of singer and keyboardist Victoria Legrand and guitarist, keyboardist, and accompaniment singer Alex Scally. 2004–2007 : formation and Beach House [edit ]

singer and organist Victoria Legrand, who graduated from Vassar College in 2003, and guitarist Alex Scally, who graduated from Oberlin College in 2004, formed the band in 2004 after meeting in Baltimore ‘s indie rock view, producing music composed largely of electric organ, programmed drums, and steel guitar. [ 2 ] Of the origins of the ring name Scally said : “ We ’ five hundred been writing music, and we had all these songs, and then there was that here and now where you say ‘ what do we call ourselves ? ’ We tried to intellectualize it, and it didn ’ thyroxine work. In 2021, Beach House collaborated with Meow Wolf, an immersive arts output company based in Santa Fe, NM. [ 60 ] The set scored a short film called Marin’s Dreams and created soundscapes for Meow Wolf ‘s raw permanent installation in Las Vegas called Omega Mart. [ 61 ] The band composed music for three rooms within the installation — “ Upload Ghost, ” a sculpt designed by Stephen Hendee, “ Goblin Computer, ” and “ Marin and Rose ‘s Dwelling. ” [ 62 ]
