  1. Minnesota guy here. But the entire top gets clogged up eventually because I shake it up. I use a tooth pick to get the paste out. Maybe I am a complete idiot and if I didn't shake it, my problem would be solved. Alright I am an idiot. Thanks

  2. Andrew Zimmern is one of my favorite food television hosts right alongside the late, great Anthony Bourdain; Alton Brown; and the internet's favorite baritone cooking torso Andrew Ray. It's about a certain earnestness with which one approaches food, both in respect to the food that you're cooking but also the culture from which it derived. You can't be squeamish when you're trying to be authentic to a certain country's food culture, because every food culture has its roots in unusual ways to feed people. Be it insects, offal, preserved goods, or peculiar cooking methods. I try to hold myself to a standard that I must be willing to try everything once, because you won't know what you're missing otherwise, but Andrew Zimmern and Anthony Bourdain have my respect for never being above trying all sorts of things all over the world without being repulsed by them.

  3. Why was it Andrew Zimmern dropping an F-bomb shocked me lol. Get you loose at First We Feast. Speaking truth bombs though.

  4. I see from the comments I had a different reaction to this one. Andrew is a nice, fun guy with a lot of interesting experiences, but a terrible conversationalist. He rudely interrupted Sean almost every time Sean spoke, and it got pretty cringe for me.

  5. I moved to Oklahoma from Iowa 2 years ago and hearing him talk about Culver’s the way he does, truly makes me miss it badly. He’s an artist with words

  6. Feels obvious to me that Sean is rushing towards the end of the interview, and I wish he/the crew were able to just let it rip and cut it to the best under-30min video possible. Maybe make the uncut version available for a price

  7. My son and I tried tried the hot one's bag from Walmart. The chicken is absolutely delicious, and the last dab is no joke! Los Calientes is probably one of the best hot sauces I've had.

  8. Funny he talks up Shake Shack like that. I had a burger from Shake Shack and was profoundly underwhelmed. Looked like it had been made with no care whatsoever. And the flavor was nothing to write home about. I've never been back.

  9. Andrew is a personal hero of mine. I had a lot of sick days as a kid for many reasons, and it hips showp always made me smile no matter how bad I felt or how lonely I was.

  10. As a Canadian I can’t for the life of me understand why you don’t feed hungry families let alone kids. Food stamps seem so humiliating to me, why don’t families just get that amount in a cheque that covers the food allowance

  11. One of my favorite episodes yet. I love these ones where my respect for the guest only grows. What a great guy, what fantastic and wholesome conversation with great talking points both profound, mundane, and down to earth. And on top of it all he handled his capsaicin like a champ!

  12. Gotta just chime in and say that Culver's does reuse food the next day, and the fries are frozen. When I worked there, custard would be held for up to 5 days

  13. I love hot sauce and I actually like having a stopper because I end up using too much and I go through the bottle too fast. It’s never because I used too much and it’s too hot, I just want to savor the hot sauce and not use it too fast.

  15. I have had fried squirrel and it was tender. I will have to say I love s good bison burger, but I also love a good veggie burger. The best veggie burger I EVER had was at the little restaurant inside the St. Gregory hotel in Washington DC. I will try most anything one time but before I do there will have to be some concessions I will NOT eat due to my sensitivity to such ingredients. Why I can no longer eat certain foods is beyond my understanding. Oh yeah, those Thai chilis ARE WAY WAY WAY 🔥! I do love spicy food, but there are limits to what I eat with that too! Thank you Andrew for sharing! I miss being able to eat at Culver's!!! I LOVED their concretes!!! I used to go through their drive thru many times for those!
