What to do if your intersection is under guarantee ?

REELS

Reels requiring guarantee consideration should be sent postage paid to the Abu Garcia Factory Service Department or to an Abu Garcia Authorized Warranty Service Center. In the event your reel is under guarantee, it will be repaired or replaced and shipped back to you for no extra commit .

alternatively you can send your bobbin to one of our other Authorized Service Centers :
Package your virginia reel cautiously to avoid price. We suggest sending your reel via UPS or Fed-Ex ( keep the track number ). If you would rather send your reel by mail, remember to insure your software .
Send the following items along with your reel:

  • Completed Product Repair/Replacement Form.
  • Dated copy of your receipt (if you are requesting repair under warranty, see warranty details).

RODS

If your perch is within the master guarantee period ( 3 years from the date of buy for manufacturer defects ), we will need to inspect your rod to determine the nature of the open frame .
In order to file a guarantee claim and/or successor claim, we ask that you provide the watch and email it to us at abugarcia @ purefishing.com :

  • Photograph of the actual break
  • Photograph of the model number (located above the handle/opposite side rod)
  • Photograph of the brand and model (located above the handle)
  • Photograph of the rod as a whole
  • A copy of your receipt (if within warranty period)
  • Your contact information (daytime phone number along with your full name and physical address for UPS return delivery – we cannot return to a Post Office Box).

There is a $ 9.95 embark and processing fee per perch when replacing rods older than 30 days ; however, this is determined on a case to case basis .

  • Round baitcast = $21.95 + parts + S&H
  • Spinning = $19.95 + parts + S&H
  • Spincast = $17.95 + parts + S&H
  • Fly = $17.95 + parts + S&H

S & H is $ 9.95 + $ 1.00 for each extra spin .
